I have a garage full of 3.5 squares of eastern white cedar shingle.. waiting to go on my garage. Just went to the local lumber yard (in the east however) . It is used for both roofing and siding. Most eastern white is from Quebec... and of course red cedar is from your homw turf and BC in Canada... hence the lack of eastern white. I am sure and lumber yard should be able to order it for you.
