Carpet-new construction

I am over budget and need to find some carpet that is fairly inexpensive. I have samples of Aladdin (Amulet-Home Depot), Aladdin (Good Things)and Image (Brighton Beach). The ratings on the Consumer Reports site are from '98. Is there somewhere else I can check, or does anyone know anything about these carpets?
