Pressboard siding

I need to replace a pressboard siding panel that has been damaged by vines that had been growing on it for 20+ years. I was able to remove the panel with minimal effort. However, I'm having no luck on finding a source for a replacement panel. I've tried Home Depot, Lowe's, and some local lumber yards. The specs are 12" wide, 1/2" thick and a length of 15 feet, smooth finish (not wood-grained). None of the sources I've tried have it & two have even told me that it's not being made any more.
Can anyone point me toward a source? I live in the Los Angeles area.
P.S. We have been in this house for 23 yers and are the original owners of our house. We have had none of the moisture-related siding problems that people are mentioning. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
