I had one of these years ago, and I bought another on ebay. It is wonderfully simple, just bolt a 1/4" router to the metal plate and shove a stick in the square end. Turn the crank and the wood turns as the router cuts. I made some spiral legs for a desk years ago, couldn't be eaiser. HOWEVER, it requires special pointed bits to get maximum use, and I have been searching the web for 2 years trying to find them. If you have them, either sell them to me or don't lose them!
