Staining floor that has been stripped

My floor was painted several times with a paint(unsure of what kind). I have most of the paint removed from the concrete. They have a few spots that the paint will not come off. I have used everything to remove the paintand then was able to get some MEK. I will do it a couple more times til I get as much to come up as possible (until my rags stops turning red from the paint). Then I plan on cleaning the floor with a cleaner I was told about. I believe it was called Muratic Acid. Would it be o.k. to stain the concrete once I have done all of this. Do you thing it will soak into the concrete. Thanks
