Quite frankly except for Stephen and Sylvia the rest of you must not have understood what you were getting...the lights must be on but the penthouse is vacant. Take a piece of suede and look at it...it is streaky and has variations in tone and colour. Perhaps you're confusing suade with Naugahyde...remember...the plastic covering on your dad's recliner. I used this paint...followed the instructions...and it is fantastic. Exactly the warm, inviting feeling I was looking for. Instead of wasting your money on Ralph Lauren paint you should be investing in plain old white...easy to do...no need to follow directions.
