The only other things I can think of would be to make sure that you don't leave any way for mice or chipmunks etc to find a way under the floor to nest. These type of spaces is what they yearn for. Don't leave ANY gaps leading under the floor. Rodent droppings can cause the Honta (sp.?) virus (similar to ebola) among other illnesses.
