Purchased a new home and wish to build a enclosed sunroom attached to the back of my home, but raised off the ground aprox. 6'. My thought are to pour a footing and concrete block a foot above ground level, then base plate with 2x4 walls to reach 6' off ground floor level and from there adding my sunroom. Is this contruction sound? Jim
