We license a product called Vamoose 1808T that is sold exclusively through “Hill Country Distribution”; you can find them at www.hillcountrydistribution.com. The Vamoose 1808T is very effective at eliminating the odor of tobacco from fabrics such as carpets, curtains, headliners, drapes, mattresses, etc. and the reason it’s so effective is because of a revolutionary technology platform we’ve patented and termed Novexium®. One of the functions is to penetrate the fabrics and react with the constituents of tobacco smoke (tar and nicotine) that causes these constituents to convert into gaseous molecules without causing any damage to the fibers of the fabric. It really is amazing. When first applied there is a pungent odor that is a result of this conversion but that will dissipate completely (usually within an hour or two and certainly within one or two days). This is an irreversible conversion so once the conversion has taken place, the volatile molecules that were being dispensed from the decaying constituents are no longer present. True elimination! The product is currently being sold to both the hospitality market (hotels, motels, etc.) and to car rental agencies. In addition, Hill Country Distribution now offers it to the consumer via its web site. For more information, you can always contact us at the SL Parkhurst Corporation, our e-mail is info@slparkhurst.com .
