I was hoping if anyone could help me find an answer to a toilet problem that I'm having. One of my three toilets which is located on the first floor of my home makes a very, very loud high pitched sound around the time when the water level gets high enough to where it needds to stop filling (waterline) after the toilet is flushed. Not only does it make the high pitched noise, but the float ball does not stop the water from filling past the waterline and continues to run. I have to manually turn of the water by turning the water supply valve off. I am the original owner of the house which is about 3 1/2 yrs
old and we seldom use the toilet downstairs. It is quite ironic how the toilet that we hardly ever use has problems. Would you happen to have any suggestions of tests I could run in order to find what exactly is causing the problem? Would this problem be easily fixable or would I need to contact a plumber to
resolve it? If needed, the specifications of the toilet is as followed:

MANSFIELD
NO.160
1.6gpf/6Lpf
Insp.No.401

I would greatly appreciate any information possible in finding a resolution to this matter.
