help, I bought all new mini lights and hung them. Are you suppose to leave the exposed plug ends and connections to the extendsion cords uncovered and exposed to the wheather? Asking because during a hard rain my lights when out and I can't getting them working. I can't figure out what happened. Also is there a limit of how many strings you should use per plug? Is it also safe to leave extendsion cords on the ground?
