It should say "Replace" inside a picture of a little battery. Simply means that it is time to replace the batteries.
However, mine says replace battery with perfectly GOOD batteries in it and even changing them does not correct the message NOR does it allow me to operate any of the functions.
Trying to find out if there is some resetting that may remedy the problem.
