grade level concrete slab

have slab at grade level in family room, has had indoor/outdoor carpet over padding on for over 15 yrs, needs replacing. is this still the best way to go with high quality commercial indoor/outdoor carpet just over padding or is something now better. no to wood flooring or tile as fr
iends did that and just too too cold ?????
also 2 sections of wall have waferboard on but has dried out. can we put wood wainscoating over and paint it, really dont want to remove waferboard??? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
