The decking, roofing, and the flashing have been replaced about a year ago. The contractor has caulk the flashing several times. He is in the process of making a new metal cap. He also washed and sealed the brick.. I don’t have the name of the sealer today. I do know that water comes through the bricks. And there was water leakage after sealing. When I used my pressure washer to remove old ivy roots,(before the sealing) there was water on the attic side of the outer chimney wall. I have designed a gutter system to catch water and it did catch water when it rained last week. .
