Shallow Well Pump

Hello Bill ~
It sounds like you are a man in the "know" ref. wells. So here is my situation. Just moved into a country house with a well under the house. It's not a swallow well. Every time we get a HARD rain, our water gets dirty. Under the same conditions we have standing water next to the well pump.
Any ideas? I'm told there is no way rain is pushing dirt in the well pump system but something is happening.
