I built my own 40' x 40' double U dock. I had an architect design it for me. I located a supplier (Henderson Marine Supply) for all my dock supplies, I found the company that makes the floats, also supplies free DOCK plans. The company is DOW. They have a basic 12' x 24' U dock, as well as other configurations. There are 2 Henderson Marine Supply stores that could possibly send you the plans, one is in Richmond, Ca. (510) 235-2050.
