I have kitchen carpet and love it. It is nice to walk on barefooted. It has a pattern that is appealing in a kitchen. Don't have much trouble with spills. I would like to replace it but it is hard to find somthing similar. It is basically a fairly smooth surface type thin commercial padless carpet glued to the floor. I wouldn't want a pile carpet with pad in a kitchen though.
