If you contact GE along with the appliance's *exact* model number ("XL44" isn't it), they can probably supply a replacement manual if the appliance isn't too old.

You can find tips for locating the model number identification tag on your appliances in the 'Repair Parts' section of my web site linked below and find owner's manual resources in the 'Home Service' section.

**the oven clock does not work. it is stuck on "2". **

It could be because of a problem in the control or maybe even a 'stuck' button on the control panel (if a separate part on whatever model of range you have).

You could try disconnecting power from the appliance for a couple of minutes to see if the control resets. If not, I would assume there is some problem in the range which will need to be investigated. BTW. Service procedures wouldn't usually be covered in an owner's *usage* manual.
