I am looking for some advise on how to stop a leak in my new vessel sink drain. I installed this sink (ceramic) on top of a new counter I made for the bath out of 3/4 maple plywood. After drilling a 1 1/4 inch hole - I installed the sink, with drain and silicone gaskets per their set up in the box...(there were no instructions in either the sink box or the hardware box from manufacturer). I filled bowl and drained to find I have no leaks from plumbing except at the flange (where the vent holes are allowing water to creep into the plywood (where hole was drilled for drain) and I cannot figure out how to stop - any advise?
Thanks
