I have seen this question before on this site and have seen answers that range from unhooking door to run screw a few times ,maybe greese buildup to realigning door and all inbetween. The real answer in most cases is the up and down sensor on the rear of the opener. If the screw isnt turned far enough (usually 3/4 of a turn) the door will stop going up or going down as the case may be. I have been going thru this for awhile till I got out the instruction book to see how the manufacture thinks the unit should work. Humph, O K I guess this time they are right...
