My electric garage door opener reverses direction whenever I loose electricity to the house. This can also occur when I shut the main power to the house to do some electrical work. When it happens the door goes in the opposite direction when I use my remote switch or the hard wired button. Then I have to rearrange the trip clips on the chain to adjust for the now opposite movement of the garage door. Why and how do I fix this?
