Leaking patio

We have a screened-in patio that leaks water after heavy rains. There are some leaks in the ceiling, which can easily be fixed, but the main leaks come from the ground up. It seems to be leaking between the concrete and the metal of the screen all along the side facing the backyard. We have a small pump, pumping up the water, since once corner of the patio sits lower anyways and all the water collects there, but this is only a temporary fix. What is the best way to fix the leaking? Also, we just stripped the paint of the patio, since it started coming off due to the sitting water. We plan on re-painting. We thought about etching it first and then use a 2-part patio paint to go over with. Is this the best route to go? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
