architectural shingles

Posted by ddfpv1 on March 14th, 2007 11:12 AM

I just got new architectural shingles installed yesterday (complete tear-off). I have a slit-level, and my roof is not that slanted (walkable), so when you look up at the roof from about 20 feet away, you can only see the profile of the shingles... the whole roof looks really wavy! Is this how they're supposed to look?
I used to have the 3-tab shingles and they looked a lot smoother except for the parts that were lifted and warped. The new architectural shingles look just like the old warped parts of the old roof! Is this the normal appearance of architectural shingles when you look up at the side of them from the ground?
