Perminent Marker in the dryer

How do I remove perminent marker out of the inside of my dryer. A pen ran in the dryer and now I haven't a clue how to get it off. I tried a degreaser and alcohol (both separtely)but do not want to mix too many solvents, especially in an area that will become heated. Please help....if you have any suggestions. I am sure I am not the only one who has had this problem.
