If the cause of the cooling problem excessive frosting?? (You never said). Only then would it be one of 3 possibilities.

There are lots of things that can cause cooling problems in a refrigerator as described at the following link.

- My frost free refrigerator is not cooling properly. What might be the problem?

Any one of them is as good a possibility as any other until positively ruled out as a potential. It's of little use just guessing.
