install draintile on existing property

With the snow melting and the rain falling I have a problem with water pooling across my backyard. The water eventually drains but takes too long for my liking. The property behind mine slopes towards my property and my property slopes towards the property across the street (I am in the middle of a hill). There is a drainage ditch at the front of my property. I have been told that installing draintile will correct this problem. The next problem I face is how to go about doing this. Is there a how-to video or book that anyone can recommend? Directions preferrably with pictures would be great.
