I have just stipped paint splatter and old finish/wax from a 50 yr. old hardwood floor using Formsby Refinisher. Apparently, the original owner used a rug in the center of the room, which has left that part of the floor lighter in color than the area where the sun hit the wood. I don't want to stain or sand the wood; however, is there a way to lighten the wood where the sun hit it? Thanks in advance for your help!
