fan switch wiring KTE

I have a KTE 3089 which has 4 wires and needs to be replaced. The 4 wires are marked L123. The switch has 4 positions. They are L123, L023, L103 and L120 -- 0 indicates an open circuit on that wire. I purchased a Zing Ear switch which will NOT do the job. It has 4 contacts and its positions are L100, L020, L003, L000. There is no way to amke this work!

I would guess that the red wire on the KTE switch is live -- but I could be wrong.. Any suggestions would be welcome.
