Thanks Henry; as in the past, I can alway count on your wise guidance! How do you feel about finishes.? Do I use polyurethane (oil or water-based)? --or how do you feel about tung oil? The daughter who is going to live in this house has a small dog and I am nervous about scratch marks. Is it possible to try tung oil first, and if I am not happy with that, later do a poly finish right on top of the tung oil? Thanks in advance (again).
