Removing old bathtub

I need to have the old tub out and I want to put In a walk in shower. I run a adult family home and I have a client that's In a wheelchair. I really need to no what the fastest time the job can be done. Is there anybody out there that can tell me . I wanted to do this my self and though It would take three days. I can't have the bath room out for more than three day so what can be done and how much will It cost for labor. cost around $1,000.00
