Our turn of the century home, has Birds eye maple floors throughout the house. The kitchen has two sub floors installed? With two layers of linoleum. The problem is: a grape like stain that has appeared in several areas of the floor. This was our orignal problem with the grape stain on the floor. We received several bids(4) on the floor project. All of the contracters said the same thing; install new sub-floor lay over that, so we did that. Now the problem has returned? We are so dissapointed that we would rather just remove all the vinyl and refurbish the wood floor One of our problems is that the first floor was installed, then the new cabinets installed on the top of the first layer of vinyl. What is the best way to remove all of this damaged vinyl and subflooring. TIA Tim Conway
