If the door is climbing, moving up when it's closed, I thing your top most hinge is loose. The door is sagging onto the threshold. Try replacing the screws in the upper hinge with some longer ones. You should be able to lift on the door handle when the door is open just a little and see movement in the top hinge if this is your problem.
