Well on some places no it can't be removed however your talking about leather and oil paint has a special chemical that removes it unlike other paints well known. On some things oil paint can be removed by hot water and bleach dawn or other dish soaps. Ever try heating the oil paint to a small temp and then wiping? I know that oil paint can be a mess but it is all in being careful in using it such as wearing the right clothing, having a large work space and such. Other then that all I can say is next time be careful.
