Unless you have unusually high humidity, you may have a problem. Is all of the water to which you refer condensation that collects on the outside of your furnace case? Water in the base of the furnace makes me suspect that your coil is freezing up, possibly as the result of a low freon charge. Where is your A/C unit? If it is it in a basement, has your door been left open, allowing exterior humidity within? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
