Has your door already been installed in your house, or are you unsure how to install it? Your topic title refers to a gap at the bottom, but in your comments you seem to refer to the space between the door and the frame. Please clarify your problem. In the more commonplace US construction, there is trim on the inside of the door opening between the edge of the door frame and the finished wall of the room. This trim is called casing. It does not usually come with the door unit, but must be purchased separately. An exterior door if sold "prehung" comes already installed in a frame with hinges attached. Often these prehung units come with trim for the exterior of the frame which is called "brick mold". Give us a bit more information and we may be able to advise.
