Doug, thanks for your response. I'm not quite sure what you mean by the "operator arm". Do you mean the round bar that goes across the bottom of the jalousie connecting both sides or the "wire" that connects the slats to the crank.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by
"...measure once.....cut twice.... throw that one away and cut a new one...."

I appreciate your help and just need a little more description. Thanks!
