I was very pleased to read your ideas for fixing the large burners on the GE induction cooktop. Please let us know if this works.

We have been living without the big burners now for almost 2 years. We have looked at new induction cooktops and I see that now they are making them with a fan to blow a sheet of air between the glass top and the induction burner so that you are less likely to overhear the burner (which is what we did).

How did you find a repairman who would do this fix?
