We are in South Jersey and the summers are hot and humid. I understood that the air from inside the house is expelled through the unit to the outside utilizing a vent similar to the dryer vent.
They tell you to position the unit as far from the HVAC unit as possible. Could this be the reason?
We have addressed past water issues with french drains, but still have a certain amount of dampness; could it be because we have a concrete floor?
I want to address all the issues prior to starting a renovation.
Have you worked with or do you own a Humidex?
