I'm very sorry if my explanation is a little bit confusing, in the Philippines, usually the front door and the door frame here are maid of solid wood that's why the problem arises when the weather changes when summer it becomes loose and when the rainy season comes it becomes tight. I notice that the doors in the US is not made of solid wood and the door frames are made of venyl that's why I don't notice any changes whatever the weather is. I hope this gives you a little clearer
