The distinct disadvantage of the wall system is that the OC walls are, while removable, are quite flimsy.

They are really nothing more than 2" or so high density fiberglass with a light vinyl coating....about the same consistency of rigid air duct used in a forced air heating system.

The surface will easily damage and not be repairable...so if you have kids, beware.

Also, the panels will not support much weight, not even pictures well, so if you plan to decorate also beware.

The panels do remove and can be dried if they ever get wet.

I don't find this feature to be particularly user friendly since all the moldings are plastic, made to snap into pre-made tracks, and not that easy to remove and reinstall.

Overall, the OC systems is very attractive, but more 'office' like than homey.
