Neither is the answer to your question. You need to have your air handling unit and ducts cleaned. Call your local Sears as they do the best job. I am extremely sensitive to mold and pesticides. They did the best job in my Southern home. They cut a hole in the air handler, create reverse suction and suck out all the junk in the air ducts. Then, they remove the fan from the air handling unit and clean it outside with chemicals. They reinstall it. They, then clean the coils/vacuum and hose down the heat pump outside. If you desire, they will spray the mold retardant in the ducts afterwards. Then, you should use your a/c normally again. it cost less than $400 for the entire service-once every 4 years.
