Hi Lynn-Chocolate,

can you elaborate any more on Duration please? I am wondering if it was a bad batch in 02 or what. Was thinking of using it on our house but now am very concerned. It sounds like you did a very thorough prep job so it doesn't make sense and also it is awful that SW didn't stand behind their guarantee. Have you found a better exterior paint yet?

Consumer reports has California velvet flat, Glidden Durocoat semi gloss, and Pratt and Lambert Accolades as their top 3. No one really mentions any of these 3 on forums however. Also heard Benjamin Moore Aura, and Muralo are 2 more good exterior paints which don't need primers but again not mentioned much in forums as far as longevity.
