I have been reading all the posts regarding Trex because I am experiencing the same mold issues that most people have complained about. It was installed by my builder who has done extensive remodeling on my house. He was unaware of the problem with Trex decks. He recommended it and still receives mailings from Trex promoting their products. I am very frustrated about what to do since I intend to sell my house in the next few years.
Anyone have advice about whether to just continue cleaning and sealing the deck as opposed to taking a big loss and removing it due to future concerns by someone buying my property.
