Do I need Soap for the Power Washer???

I'm sorry to keep bugging you guys, but do I need soap for the power washer or can I use just water. This is Cedar Siding and is pretty black on the side near the road (dust buidup). You guys are the greatest!!! Thanks Steve and Jay!!
