leaking fuel tank on sears riding mower

I have a Craftsman Mid-Engine Rider mower on which the plastic fuel tank is leaking at a seam. I was never notified there was a problem with the possibility of the tank leaking. Will this be replaced by sears at no charge and has there been a recall on this model 536.270280? Please give advise to my course of action
