Venting a microwave through a block wall

I was wondering if anyone would have some suggestions on venting a microwave through a block wall. I have a kitchen in my basement and I would like to be able to clear some of the heat that builds up there using my microwave vent. I have the template that came with the unit to vent to the out side. It would be vented into a crawl space but I could run a hose like you use for a dryer to the crawl space vent. Any suggestion on how to cut through the block?
