kenmore elite slide in oven /brokenglass repair

The cooktop glass is broken and we have the replacement part but in trying to remove the top we do not know how to get the front loose from the control panel.There are screws we see but no ability to access them to remove them.I know there is a simple solution but we can not see it.All the rest is loose and ready to remove.We aren't sure if we have to pop of the control panel /or how to pop it off if that does happen to be the only way to access the screws.
