Dried up Paint

I opened an old gallon of latex flat paint recently and there was a clear liquid on the top half of the can and the paint was dried up and hard underneath it. Is there anything I can do to save this paint. It is too hard to mix. Is there anything else I could add that would soften the hardened paint? Or is it trash Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
