brick fireplace covering

Hello all,
I'll be taking over my mom's condo here shortly and she has a ceiling to floor country blue fireplace. My furniture is sage green and mixed with the country blue...ICK! I am a broke single mom and am looking for a easy fix because I am BROKE! What do you think about coving it with those metal ceiling tiles. I think it would look really neat?
