I live in a townhome where some of the outside walls are brick veneer. A mouse was getting inside one of my walls, and when I looked around for possible points of entry, I found round holes drilled into the bottom course of brick every two feet or so. I put steel wool into these holes, but I've since learned that's probably not a good idea, as these are made for ventilation/moisture to escape. I've seen on the internet ventilation "plugs" that can be used on weep holes of the kind that are vertical spaces between two bricks, but nothing that would work for the type I have, which are round holes about 1/2" in diameter. Has anyone else seen this kind of weep hole before, and is there anything I can use in it to keep mice from getting in ?
